Time - Pink Floyd
January 6th, 2009 | Videos
This is Time (The Dark Side of the Moon, 1973), from Pink Floyd, live at P.U.L.S.E; recorded at Earls Court, London, in 1994. Roger Waters, one of the the composers of Time, is not in this show.
Current members of Pink Floyd are: David Gilmour (guitars, lead vocals) • Richard Wright(keyboards, secondary vocals, backing vocals) • Nick Mason(drums, percussion);
Lyrics:
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun,
but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time has gone, the song is over,
thought I'd something more to say
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.

yes market music.... puppets with dark masters pulling their strings to manipulate whole populations into playing into their plan without even knowing it, through catchy tunes full of subliminal persuasion.....August 17th, 2008 at 07:40:40

My name is daniel bernal and I am 13 years old. I LOVE CLASSIC ROCK. Pink Floyd is my 2nd favorite band only after the beatles. All my favorite bands started out in the 60s: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who. Music now isn't as great as it used to be. THXAugust 17th, 2008 at 10:21:33

They are one of the best. Most of the grand masters of rock do have big heads no doubt, that's why they start fighting and screw it up for use who would do anything or almost anything to see them reunite. Roger Waters in concert last year was excellent I must say.August 17th, 2008 at 11:53:29
